Travelling distance is
about 80 km from the starting point; ONGCHA-Assam Chapter in association Assam
Asset
organized an environmental awareness programme at MolaiKathoni, Where the
Forest man Padmashree Dr.Payeng Welcomed all ONGCHA, Chapter members & a
fruitful interaction session was held about the Forest Conservation between the
ONGCHA members , & he stressed about tree plantation is only way to protect
human civilisation, during a short felicitation programme ONGCHA, Assam Chapter
gives him a folding chair & Trekking Hat quite useful during their
preservation work, he acknowledge & appreciate to Team ONGCHA for their
unique tour for mother earth in the eve of forthcoming world environment day.
He also briefed about his United State invitation regarding forest conservation
in due course.
After that ONGCHA
Chapter team visited his forest crossed the part of Brahmahputra River. The
team is led by the Chapter Working President Sjt. P.R.Mili& trip is executed
by the Chapter Coordinator Shri Nitya Dutta.
Such kind of activities
conducted by ONGC Himalayan Association, Assam Chapter is also helping the ONGC
operations for maintaining social correlation in operational areas of ONGC in
Assam. This is only because of the guidance and whole hearted support from the
Management of ONGC, Assam Asset.Mr.NityaDutta has also ascribed the success of the
expedition to the wholehearted support from ED-Asset Manager Sjt.BudhinDeuri
and Sjt. RatulDutta, GM-Head HR/ER & SM (officiating).
