The mighty river Brahmaputra and its tributaries like Manas, Jia Bhoroli and Kapili offer enormous extent for river rafting in Assam. The water current of these rivers is very high with the thrill of adventure. It is stated that the famous Indo-Japanese Expedition was held in Brahmaputra in the year 1991. The fact is that the whole state is full of beautiful rivers.
In the recent past, a team of highly adventurers of ONGCHA - Assam Chapter successfully completed White Water Rafting in the river Jia Bhoroli for a measurable distance of about 18 km. The team was led by the ONGCHA - Assam Chapter Co-ordinator Shri Nitya Dutta. This rafting range was attached to Nameri National Park.
