ONGC
Himalayan Association, Assam Chapter is organizing an Adventure Sports Carnival
during 21-22 March, 2014. Some of the most attractive adventure sports are
being included in the carnival, such as, Para-sailing, Roar High, Rappelling, Elephant
Safari and Horse Riding, etc.Demonstrating Martial Art will be an added attraction in the carnival. The venue of the carnival is Parade Ground, Near Helipad, ONGC, Nazira.
The
Co-ordinator of ONGCHA-Assam Chapter, Nitya Dutta has stated that apart from these
sports events, there will be Ethnic Food Counters providing varieties of delicious
foods of Assam representing ethnic communities like Mising, Ahom, Kachari, Assamese
and also tasteful North Indian dishes.
Further,
there will be participating handicrafts stalls showcasing handicrafts products
of North-East India.
Cultural
Extravaganza to be performed by popular professional artists will complement
with colour in the evening in both the days.
